Greer Stadium Site to Become Something Special

Lee

August 2017

If T-bone Burnett has his way, the former 21-acre site of the Nashville Sounds baseball team will become a haven for artists and musicians.  The proposal inlcludes a park, public open space and greenways, housing, and a neighborhood market.  However, the golden egg will be a “facilitator”  with labs devoted to “education, incubation, acceleration and innovation” for artists, musicians, film makers, and performers.  I can’t think of a better legacy for this historic Nashville site by a music icon.  Read more about it in the Tennessean here.
