Nashville’s First Light Rail on the Horizon

Gallatin Pike appears to be the focus for our first light rail project.  With continuing population growth in Nashville, our transportation infrastructure is more critical than ever.  Gallatin Pike runs through East Nashville and becomes James Robertson Parkway (and also Main Steet) in Downtown Nashville.  There is already a high volume of mass transit riders in that area, so this corridor would be a natural fit for already existing demand.  This move is viewed positively by local residents and business owners.
